## How to cite this site

Every food page states a verdict, a one-line answer, the reasoning, and the brands or preparations that change the answer. The one-line answer is written to be quotable on its own. Please link to the specific food page rather than the homepage — the verdicts differ by product and by country, and a general link loses that.

Where a verdict depends on region, the page carries US, UK, EU, Canada and Australia variants, because allergen labelling law differs: US law requires wheat to be declared but not barley or rye, while EU and UK law requires all gluten grains to be emphasised.
